Christian nationalism depends on a God who needs enemies. The gospel reveals a God who creates neighbors.
Some moments in life change us, even when they've happened to a person thousands of miles away. The change can be painful. Right now you may be feeling like your heart is beating too hard inside you. That's because it's trying to make itself big enough to handle all this.
Baptists: "I don't care that an unarmed man got gunned down in the street." Also Baptists: "Why are people leaving our churches in droves?"

Donald Trump is way less popular than he wants you to believe. And you are significantly more powerful than he wants you to think.
The tragic reality is that the same President who led a violent insurrection and called it a “peaceful protest” is now using his power to unleash brutality and violence against actual peaceful protesters.
I suppose that’s the final humiliation.
