This is absolutely disgraceful - the Vagrancy Act is an archaic piece of legislation being used to criminalise homelessness. We should be seeking to listen to the views of rough sleepers in Parliament so that we can help them, not using Victorian-era laws to move them away.
Less than 2 months ago Parliament debated the Vagrancy Act and almost every MP who spoke said criminalisation of #homelessness must end. Now on their doorstep the Vagrancy Act is being used @RachaelMaskell @HughGaffneyMP @lloyd_rm @AnnelieseDodds @LaylaMoran #ScrapVagrancyAct
