Thanks all for a great day with some fantastic, diverse and varied shorts. The filmakers did us proud and opened up some thought provoking Q + A's Special thanks to @mayorofhackney for opening the Festival, his kind words and for sticking around and watching along.
Congratulations to Brian Whar @brain_war for his Rock 'n Roll love letter to a much loved and missed "legend". Stanley - The movie: DRUMS SUGAR STICKS MAGIC shone a spotlight on a man who many of us Well street locals enjoyed for the wonderfully colourful and unique man he was.
Congratulations again Rodrigo Mella @metamerblue on a great film and a much deserved Main prize. We were equally excited and struck by its complex emotive splicing with humour and drama, layered performances and placing of music at its heart.
