#OnThisDay 20 yrs ago in 2005 HM Ships @HMSLedbury & @HMSMiddleton carried out the final use of sweep gear by @RoyalNavy during an exercise off the Isle of Wight. Sweeping may be gone but Mine Countermeasures Vessels, crewed and uncrewed are still a vital element of the force.
More lies. Other countries, including China, don’t pay a penny of Trump’s tariffs. They are paid by US importers who pass on the cost to US consumers for goods on the shelves and US companies for raw materials & components used in manufacturing.
