The Houston Sun produces its 8th annual City-Wide African American History Parade and Symposium on February 18, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Texas and Hamilton near Minute Maid Park. The Symposium is at Texas Southern University at 12:30 pm in the Barbara Jordan -Mickey Leland Bldg.
The Houston Sun presented three Juneteenth Programs. Mildred Johnson Miss Juneteenth Pageant; Lonal X Robinson Juneteenth Talent Show and Original Citywide Juneteenth Parade! Freedom is great!
I voted. The ballot had 88 pages and it takes two legal size pages to print it out. My grandson went to the polls with me and he also voted. Voters should also be aware that machines are different. Don’t forget to vote on election day.
