If you’re over on that 🧵 app, let me know so I can follow you there. I’m missing a lot of my 🐦 app friends who I wasn’t connected to on the 📸 app.
The other day, my 13 year old informed me he’d been alive for 4957 days, and that he estimated he had about 24,450 more to live and that he’d already completed about 16% of his life and I haven’t stopped feeling utterly panicked about my dwindling days. 😩
Reviving this old tweet because it came up in my FB memories… these forget-me-not pins are made by my parents in NL.

You say “Eat the rich”, but now it’s a tragedy that 5 extraordinarily wealthy people in a homemade sub they took on a lark are missing & people are praying like crazy, but also 100s of people who hopped on a boat to flee real violence are missing and that’s less tragic? Huh.
Go figure.

Yuuuuup
people in the rest of canada treat the maritimes like america treats canada (idyllic paradise of simple nice people that is easy to romanticize because you don't actually know anything about it)
Here’s a weird experience… was on Facebook reading a post about Toronto nostalgia, and record stores came up. A bunch of people were reminiscing about the store my birth father owned. The guy whose name I know, but who denies I exist. Weirder: my dad used to shop there.

It’s hard to believe I’ve basically accomplished nothing in 48 years. I’m truly incredible at procrastinating.
Watching CP24 and they’re excited about a brand new peanut patch treatment for life threatening allergies. You know… the patch technology I talked about in my @YMCbuzz column in 2015… yummymummyclub.ca/blogs/alexandr…
What is this? A passport for giants? How can we expect people to travel if they can’t even fit inside the airplane?
Finally something designed for us tall people.
