Online apps like these are interesting as it can tie in with plain english - maybe Hemingway had a lost career as a technical writer? #tcidul

Today I was reminded of that awful "Hemingway App" that edits your grammar to make it "bold and clear." The funniest thing is when you put Hemingway's own writing in, it also gets flagged as "hard to read". Maybe our culture has taken this spare prose thing a little too far?
