Hooking into IPython input transformers is complicated, any though about the following example ? Would you like it ? What would you do with it ? Run a profiler ? Wrap in a "retry" loop ? Should we support 1 or many transform ? Only magics to register or also programatic API ?

Next month is #MaintainerMonth, and this month is also the time to drop support fro Python 3.8 according to NEP 29. Less code paths, less CI, smaller faster builds. Next version of #IPython will be 3.9+ only. Comme see us at @JupyterCon

First wave of acceptance/refusal for #jupytercon 2023 should be in the pipes. We had more than 170 submissions, and only ~55 slots. Rejection rate was high with many really good presentations we had to refuse. We hope you'll still come show your projects at lightning talks !
