(8/9) There are other, more minor questions needing answers before we can begin, so please keep an eye on this page for future updates.

(7/9) Q: Is it possible to set up a non-profit charity organization with a tax ID, a bank account, donation payment options, etc. for the study? A: Yes, and this step has been completed!

(6/9) Q: Is it possible to have the exact supplements we need sourced so as to include them in the intervention diet? A: It looks like it. We're working on this as well.

(5/9) Q: Is it possible to have one manufacturer create both a control diet & an intervention diet for study participants in each country? A: It looks like it. We're working on the many details with the intent to finalize this soon.

(4/9) Q: Is it possible to attain ethics approval for the study? A: It should be. Receiving ethics approval for a study involving animals is necessary to ensure the welfare of those animals in the study. We're starting on the paperwork for this now.

(3/9) Q: Are there veterinarians willing & able to donate their time and expertise to the dachshund IVDD/IVDC/IVDH reduction initiative ? A: Yes! Specialists from three continents agreed to help with the study design, x-ray interpretations, etc.

(2/9) Q: Are there enough dachshund breeders interested in helping to reduce IVDD/IVDC/IVDH in the breed? A: Yes! Your & other breeders' expressions of interest for this study proposal were fantastically encouraging. There was a high level of interest from dachshund owners too.
