Wow what a Sunday!!Standing in the middle of the Peace River. The rain was colder than the water we were standing in and oh the lightning!!!
Oh the river is going down. Stay away rain for a week or two. I am going digging this weekend. The weather is beautiful and it's warm.
JUST SITTING HERE AT WORK WONDERING WHEN THE RIVER WILL GO DOWN. IF EVER. NEED TO GO DIG FOSSILS OR DIVE AND THE WEATHER IS NOT COOPERATING.
Back at work. Getting ready for a wicked rainstorm. Was going fossil hunting this weekend but that may get put on hold due to the rain.
Working, what else? Been almost four months since I have gone up the river. Too deep because it won't stop raining!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well here we go TGIT because most of us have Friday off and I can't wait to get up to the river even if it is flooded. I need to dig fossils
Well here it is Friday. TGIF!!!!!! Hope to go digging tomorrow. The river was down and then it rained.
Went diving off the beach yesterday and found a dollar bill wrapped around a sea urchin. Very strange. Another day, another dollar.
I am working. Yesterday was my birthday. Still no digging in the river. It went back up. Guess I need to go scuba diving.
What am I doing? I'm working of course. But it is almost Friday. River is getting lower, 10 inches above normal. I'm going.
Wednesday and still working. Getting closer to Friday. Boy is it hot today. Hope it doesn't rain though, the river is still going down.
Well back at work. Tim flies back tomorrow. Go down river so I can go dig.
Still at work. I would like to forget work and dig fossils all day long. My favorites are shark's teeth.
