So very saddened by the death of Jay Binder. A terrific person, and such a talented casting director. He cared deeply about actors and colleagues; he was an integral part of the NYC theatrical/Broadway community, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Terrific insights from Isabelle Huppert, one of the world's greatest actors: Isabelle Huppert Doesn’t Watch Her Past Films, but She Will Discuss Them nytimes.com/2022/02/15/mov…

Saddened to read of Ivan Reitman's death; condolences to his family and loved ones. My favorite film of his is DAVE; superb performances by Kevin Kline, Sigourney Weaver, Ving Rhames, Frank Langella and the entire ensemble. Witty, clever, moving.

Pristine snow on bare tree branches is such an elegant, wondrous sight.

Such a kind, sweet, heartwarming gesture. Hopefully @delpotrojuan is able to feel the admiration and love from his colleagues, and from tennis fans throughout the world. He'll be missed.

Congratulations to all the nominees, and to everyone who had films in contention! Your work and artistry inspires and moves us, particularly in these times.

Looking forward to the Oscar nominations announcement this morning. As a voter, I take the responsibility very seriously; it's a privilege. So many brilliant filmmakers, actors, artisans from all over the world. They've already won, in having their projects made, and released.

Wishing @delpotrojuan good health and a vibrant future. Superb tennis star who radiates goodness & sensitivity. He's given joy to countless tennis fans, and deserves joy in return.

One thing I would say to actors (and writers, directors & artists) who feel unseen, unheard, unappreciated: please know that people whose work you greatly admire, whose careers seem like the pinnacle of success/great fortune, also experience fear, self-doubt & vulnerability.

How thrilled and proud @RafaelNadal's family must be. Aside from his incredible gifts and grit, he exudes humility, decency, loyalty, kindness, candor. Such a role model.

One hopes, re books being banned in schools/libraries, that readers, parents & educators will be curious enough to seek out, read & discuss great works of literature & form their own opinions. No greater gift/education than a lifelong love of reading/learning/critical thinking.
