When you have only seen mistreatment in life, it becomes difficult to accept respect. You actually feel uncomfortable and don't trust the person treating you respectfully. Looking inward is key to understand how the stress impacts you and how trauma has shaped your inner world.


If you can't change how people talk about you, it is still okay, but one thing is non-negotiable - your inner dialogue. Always have a positive attitude towards yourself, embrace your mistakes, love your achievements, celebrate the small things. Love Yourself Always.


Trauma and emotional abuse takes away too much from you, so if you are able to reclaim any part of yourself, that is an achievement - even if people fail to see it that way. Always celebrate breaking the cycle and don't care if it is a one (hu)man party.


Take time to understand what is it that your heart feels safe and happy doing. They can be two different things or one and the same. Learn to listen to your own heart and intuition and there will be more calm and peace in your life, when your heart knows it will be heard.

After witnessing abuse, it becomes easy to resort to drugs, porn, eating, masturbation, alcohol, etc. The brain wants to feel numb for sometime, after going through the overload of emotions that comes after abuse. That's all these habits are - your brain's coping mechanism.💗


Find your own safe activities as a trauma survivor. Everyone with a trauma history will need his/her own unique solutions. Some are comfortable with therapy and journalling, others feel movement and meditation, etc. is for them. One solution doesn't fit all. 🫂


As a abuse survivor, it becomes difficult to trust anyone. But the hardest part is trusting yourself. If you have endured abuse of any kind, it will be difficult to gain control of yourself, but never believe that you deserved the ill-treatment. You are worthy of love.💗💗💗


Intuition is your true inner voice, the one which is not yet affected by conditioning and opinions. People may ask you to ignore it, but it only wants your highest good, even though you may fail to see it. #InnerWork


When you have endured lies and trauma, it is very easy to blame yourself. Self-compassion is one of the hardest thing to develop, after you have been abused, but it is the only thing that will help you re-gain control of your life again.


Your soul is beautiful. You are an awesome creation. Everything about you is divine. You can achieve everything you want to. You are loved and appreciated. #Innerchildhealing #innerwork


Whether you have an audience to appreciate you, or you are all alone in fighting your demons - Keep going, the future will be way better than you ever imagined.


The world may look down upon it but the best quality a person may have is innocence.


Knowing that you deserve love and respect happens only when you let go of the voices in your head that belong to people who abused, belittled and ridiculed you. Identifying where your thoughts have come from is important. Inner Work is so important.


Being kind and innocent is not a fault, but a superpower. Never let anyone make you feel bad for being innocent, it is one quality that will make you see the best in others, even when they themselves might not be able to.
