#sqlhelp does anyone know the requirements for making a linked server between sql 2012 and 2019? Link created but failing. 2012 is SP2 with TLS1.2 enabled. What else is needed?

Thanks for the rec of PBIRS, it's just what we need (We are doing PBI already). We have an army (correction, 'team') for each of VM, SAN, security, etc, so I have no idea how any of it is config'd anymore, I'm all but a user now. It will cost whatever they make it cost.
