Agreed...im not great at excel, but I've been trying to take classes online..etc. Honesty is always best as the truth will always come out!!
But, not in a rehearsed way. People are crafting elaborate answers when you can just say, "I'm not great (name the thing), I'm working on it, but you should know it's a thing." Lying to say that I got over my weakness of always needing a new project is unfair to them & me.
I would suggest including ways you're proactively addressing those weaknesses.
In a job interview, if you get asked "what is your weakness", you don't need to stop at one. Tell them a few and how you're working on them, and how they can help you with them. It's a way to know if your particular weaknesses are going to have space/support to improve.
Disagree. It's not a staring competition. Take the opportunity to take notes to craft a thoughtful and reflective Thank You email. #career #interview

#Execs: Make your resume achievement-driven and keyword saturated. Show results, the impact you've made on each organization and wait for your interview!
#LI Tip: Your summary should be results-focused and saturated with industry-specific terms and keywords. Your goal is to get found...right?
Find work that engages you. Find work that inspires you. Work that you love. Work that fills your bucket and others' buckets. But, work is still work. Don't expect perfection. You won't find it. Learn to also embrace the sometimes dull tasks that are necessary to make your mark.

Three simple rules in life: 1. If you do not go after what you want—you will never get it. 2. If you do not ask—the answer will always be no. 3. If you do not step forward—you will remain in the same place. 🎯 #MondayMotivation
Short Answer: Whenever you want or need to. The end.
In this candidate market, be prepared to pay for top talent.
Hiring well is expensive. There's no way around it. You have to pay the best talent what they deserve and want. It's not a market to be cheap... what's more important than ensuring you have the best talent in your organization?
Providing candidates a status update isn't best practice. It's just common decency. Being a solid recruiter means remembering interviews and job offers aren't an every day norm for most. #RecruiterLife #jobs #career
Over the past 20 years, more than 450 companies have appeared on Fortune’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” list. Yet only 12 companies have made it onto the list every year. The obvious question: What, if anything, do those 12 companies have in common?
There are many parts of the #jobsearch process that people don't like. Interviews tend to bubble to the top of this list. And from the interview process - many questions are downright despised. Tell us, what is your least favourite #interview question?
