The total wealth of 64 billionaire sports barons shot up by $98.5 billion during the pandemic; 26 of them got $9 billion in taxpayer subsidies. Meanwhile, the rest of the country got $1,800 to survive a year-long crisis. Socialism for the rich, rugged capitalism for the rest.

Amazon workers have the right to form a union. Anti-union tactics like these, especially from a trillion-dollar company trying to disrupt essential workers from organizing for better wages and dignified working conditions in a pandemic, are wrong.

NEW: Amazon workers are exposing what's happening in Alabama. They say Amazon is forcing them into anti-union meetings, texting them up to 5x daily, putting messages in bathrooms, even changing traffic light patterns to harm union organizing.

While Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans refused to provide adequate relief for working families facing economic desperation, they had no problem giving a $5 billion, 100% tax deduction to CEOs for a 3-martini lunch. You got it. The GOP loves corporate socialism for the rich.

Poverty is a policy choice. Decision makers choose to subsidize the wealthy and reward exploitation like they choose to give out $600 to people struggling through a pandemic.

How is it that giving #workers the right to a living wage is controversial but giving #corporations the right to kill them without consequence isn't?

How is it that giving people $2000 checks is controversial but giving the Pentagon $2,000,000,000 a day isn't?
