Introversion is the topic.

Looking at a text with all intentions to reply when I have the energy, but never actually getting back to replying b/c you don’t ever have the energy to can’t just be a me thing right?

Waiting at your door to leave your house until your neighbor goes back inside has to be a universal introverted move.

Apologizing for needing to recharge is like apologizing for breathing. Both are involuntary and necessary for living #introvert

I'm not ignoring your text; I'm just carefully crafting the perfect response in my head... and then deleting it because it sounds too awkward. Rinse and repeat. #IntrovertTexting

Trying not to be disingenuous and trying to be cordial can be a thin line one must walk.

The truth is…everything feels like oversharing to an introvert. Even small benign details.

Overthinking, Oversharing, and Over stimulated… welcome to the life of an introvert.

Don't take introverts natural ability to be good listeners for granted. We are not a dumping ground for all of your problems.

Introversion is a spectrum. People can find themselves on different parts of that spectrum based on the circumstances of their lives.

Most managers are unaware of how to manage their introverted employees. Slight changes to social expectations in the office could drastically change moral and productivity from the introverts in the office.

One thing about being an introvert...we know where the exits are located.

Let’s normalize no being as in depth answer to doing things we don’t feel comfortable doing.

We as Introverts require downtime and solitude to recharge our mental and emotional energy after social interactions or stimulating environments.

It’s perfectly Ok to be quiet. In a world full of people saying anything and everything that comes to their mind. We could use more quietness.

Introverts excel in roles that require focused concentration and independent work, such as research, writing, programming, or artistic pursuits.

While introverts may prefer smaller social gatherings or one-on-one interactions, they can still thrive in leadership positions, leveraging their listening skills, thoughtfulness, and ability to empathize with others.

Us introverts tend to suffer from “Analysis Paralysis” more frequently than non introverts. It’s completely an internal battle that we have full control over. We obsess over all the possible outcomes instead of focusing on the one that matters…the successful one.

Introverts are born introverted. Bred to be introverted. Or can evolve to be introverted as they get older. All three are a possibility.

I believe that being an introvert is only defined by how you recharge. Which simply put, is internally. Everything else is window dressing.
