Core C++ <local> 2021 was SO MUCH FUN!!!
#corecpp2021 is tomorrow! The first C++ conference to go fully face to face since #COVID19 arrived. Fabulous content, safety measures and great folks!
Submit your talk to Core C++ <local> 2021. Call dor Speaker 🔈 is now open! cfs.corecpp.org RT for reach! 🙏
Joint mid-career mentoring awardee Tal Pupko’s research spans the fields of molecular evolution, bioinformatics and pathogenomics. Within his lab he has been very successful in training interdisciplinary scientists.

Much of what’s being sold as "AI" today is snake oil. It does not and cannot work. In a talk at MIT yesterday, I described why this happening, how we can recognize flawed AI claims, and push back. Here are my annotated slides: cs.princeton.edu/~arvindn/talks…

Very happy to finally share the results of our collaboration with @yonchem , Lital Alfonta, Tamir Tuller, and the rest of our amazing co-authors!
A possible universal role for mRNA secondary structure in bacterial translation, a very interesting finding of Yonatan Chemla @yonchem and Michael Peeri @IronicAlgo could be now read in Nature Communications: rdcu.be/b7EjV
הפגישה הבאה תתקיים בתאריך 10/5/2020 20:00-22:00 שעון ישראל. הפגישה וירטואלית בזום. הפגישה בעברית. תוכנית: github.com/wg21il/Protoco… פרטי הפגישה יפורסמו ב slack מעט לפניה. להצטרפות: [email protected] Direct Message here כולם מוזמנים!
C++ Devs of the World! Help us learn more about the community by filling out this short survey. Just 6 easy questions and should take less than a minute. Kudos for RTs!
We are running a quick anonymous survey about C++ usage in the work environment. Please take a few seconds to help us understand our community better - your answers support making C++ better! forms.gle/v7QbfRhoGegNKf… Retweets for reach are greatly appreciated!
Wow! Less than a year after @blelbach suggested forming an Israeli national body for @isocpp, our diligent and enterprising members have set it up!! Congratulations to all involved including @InbarLavi @regev_ran @IronicAlgo @danraviv1 @avilachmish @YehezkelShB et al.
Hello World! The Israeli C++ National Body is now on twitter. You may mention RT, DM and Follow. Twitter: @israel_national Mail: [email protected] Web: wg21il.github.io

Very happy to see our new paper finally out: a survey of conserved mRNA local folding strength features within the coding sequence, and the main factors shaping its evolution!
mRNA folding: @IronicAlgo and Tuller find selection for weak folding at the ends of coding regions, strong folding elsewhere. Four factors affect strength of selection: GC content, codon usage bias, intracellular lifestage, hyperthermophilic environment genomebiology.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.11…

Core C++ 2020 is honored to announce our second keynote speaker: Walter E. Brown! WEB has written ~170 papers and is responsible for lib feat. as common_type, void_t, math special funs, <random>, <ratio> and lang feat.:alias+variable templates, static_assert and operator<=>!

Very proud and excited about our new work with @IronicAlgo , Mathias Heltberg, and Mogens Jensen, Led by Tamir Tuller and @Lital_Alfonta. It could be relevant to your work if you express something in bacteria. Check it out!
Check out Yonatan Chemla @yonchem's new discovery together with Michael Peeri and Tamir Tuller from TAU, Mathias Heltberg and Mogens Jensen from University of Copenhagen and Jerry Eichler @BGU is now in @biorxivpreprint
In related news, good luck to the Israeli delegation at the @isocpp meetings in Prague! #cpppr In less than 1-year, we have gone from @blelbach’s lightning talk CTA to a ISO National Body voting member! ✅@InbarLavi @IronicAlgo @avilachmish @dvirtzwastaken @YehezkelShB et al.
