When you’re hungry nothing will stop you till you are satisfied. When you’re not hungry or passionate about what you want, then everything in your life will matter to you. What are you hungry for? What motivates you and drives you? Does your life mirror that passion and hunger?
Pastor John asked “How many of will say I’ve been praying for 21 days & it ‘hasn’t’ happened YET?” Oftentimes our answers take more than 21 days. There are battles in the spirit. Will you continue to trust and pray? It’s your turn. What are you gonna do on Day 22?
Day 21: What an epic line, “a treasured possession.” You can tell what’s important to someone by what they talk about. In this case it’s God talking about His children. He calls us His treasures. If you don’t know where you belong, He says “you BELONG to Him.” He is our home.
Day 20: Our heavenly Father’s motivation has always been His LOVE for us. It’s His unfailing love that leads us to Him... to ultimately be with Him in heaven one day. #21daysofprayerandfasting #godspromises #ithacafirst
Day 19: This word is a for someone today. Somedays, all we can do is stand. We don’t have the energy, ability, or fight left in us to do anything else. And that’s ok. Because He’s got this! #21daysofprayerandfasting #ithacafirst
Day 18: Paul is reminding Timothy; “hey, Tim, don’t be shy with your gifts. He gave them to you for a powerful purpose. Whenever you start doubting yourself, get anxious, or get start allowing negative talk to take over, REMEMBER it’s not of God. So be BOLD w/ God’s message!”
Day 17: Long before He laid the foundations of the world, the God of the universe had us in mind. He had settled on us to be the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love (the message). #21daysofprayerandfasting #godspromises #ithacafirst
Day 16: There is a ‘night and day’ difference between being children of the night and children of the light. God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. Our new life should be a reflection of God in our lives (fruit of the spirit). Let us live as people of the light!
Day 15: God wants us to be FULL with the fullness of Him that there is no room for anything else in our lives. And when that happens we will have the confidence and power of God in all areas of our lives. #21daysofprayerandfasting #godspromises #ithacafirst
Day 14: Because we have been delivered from God’s wrath we can come boldly. Not as an outsider but as a child of God. Because we are joint heirs with Christ we can enter His presence by faith. #21daysofprayerandfasting #godspromises #ithacafirst
We actually become new creatures with a new nature. It’s letting go of old ways and putting on the new Christlike attitudes, thought patterns, and behaviors. Thank you Jesus that we no longer have to be slaves to our old nature. We are new! #21daysofprayerandfasting #ithacafirst
Day 12: Jesus is our peace. Our Prince of Peace. We can cast all our cares, worry, and anxiety on Him because He cares for us. #21daysofprayerandfasting #godspromises #ithacafirst
To be forgiven is to be delivered and redeemed (a release of payment) from our sin, guilt, and the wrath of God. It means we have been pardoned and our debt of death has been paid in in full. Jesus came in the flesh to substitute Himself for us. Oh what great Love He has lavished
Day 10: One of the greatest things we can know is who we are and whose we are. We have been marked and called by God and we belong to Him! #21daysofprayerandfasting #ithacafirst #godspromises
