also, start with a buddy if you can't on your own, sometimes a different perspective that isn't your own can really light up the dark and suddenly you see everything you couldn't before
Protip to start ideas: Find a decent 8/16+ bar vocal loop on Splice and work from that. Gives you some guidance for harmony and can quickly give your chords context, making them sound nicer. Helps if you have a midi keyboard to jam on
Having not really seriously made music in a while, coming back to FL Studio now and then to mess around, it feels impossible to get back to making full songs (something I've always struggled with). Also gave me newfound appreciation for producers, people are nuts at music.
Finally sent a proper request to Soundcloud to get rid of all the JUNK on my page from other artists
