Great collaboration and team effort from some of the children at @sbcps1 this week. It was their last after-school club before half term, so they decided to put on a spooky show!

Fantastic effort from everyone this morning, well done! 👏 The year 6 children were set the challenge to program their robots to drive around the storage boxes and return safely to the start position. Lots of tinkering with builds and trial and error. We got there in the end!

We have been able to use an algorithm and we have followed a specific sequence to program our space rovers to move!🤖 @IzwizRobotics
It was a delight to spend the morning with the two year 5 classes today. They should all be very proud of the models which they programmed. Great teamwork and computational thinking skills from everyone. Well done!

Well done to these children from @sbcps1 who all successfully completed an hour of code activity during the after-school club on Monday. It is lovely to see them all demonstrating different computational thinking skills and becoming confident programmers!

Today, we had a special visit from @IzwizRobotics. We built our very own robots and learnt how to code and programme!

Today we had a fantastic experience, building robots and programming to run various tasks. The children loved it and did fantastically, both working together, discussing the builds and what pieces they needed, and how to program them.

It's been brilliant to meet so many new children and parents today at the @JCAWakefield Summer Fair. I've loved chatting with the parents of the children who attend our after-school club there too. It's great to hear how much your children love coming to the club on a Friday.
