As others have already suggested, this is objectively hilarious from a theology that suggests that God is absolutely omnipotent but still created a defective Lucifer that fell and a defective Adam that listened to him in the Garden. Jonathan Edwards = most logical Christian.

Could God have created a better Lucifer? Sure He could! Could God have created a better Adam? Absolutely! So He must have *intended* the Fall and resultant horror, just as He must have *intended* on the eternal unimaginable suffering of countless souls also created ex nihilo.


Just saying “intention” oversimplifies the overall purpose of all creation. If I were to keep things simple, I would say “expectation.” God’s will and foreknowledge are not the same as causal intention. He allows what He foreknows, but He does not create evil. Some things cannot…
