That’s why I’ve joined the @NatlGovsAssoc’s initiative to expand K-12 Computer Science education and ensure our students are prepared for a bright future.
😲700,000 open computing jobs in the U.S. annually yet only 80,000 degrees in CS. That's not sustainable. We need to plant the seeds in K-12 to open the doors to the digital economy for a more broad range of students, not just the privileged few.
School's in session, and we're taking notes from @Etsy CEO @jgsilverman and @codeorg CEO @hadip ✏️ They're pushing for increased focus on computer science in education nationwide, making their case in a letter to U.S. governors signed by some of the biggest names in tech.

Celebrating the launch of CSforED. Thank you @lsudol for your unwavering synergy that drives @CSforALL . So happy and proud to be part of this wonderful CSE community @ECEP_CS 🥳🥳🥳
How can schools offer CS if they dont have teachers to teach CS? We need to change the systems that train our teachers. So proud @ruthef
