91 km road from Hanle-Chumar in Ladakh, built by BRO Project Himank, has been opened to the public. Crossing heights up to 17,200 ft via Salsa La Pass, it will aid Army movement, improve local travel, by linking sites like Hanle Observatory, Kyun Tso, Chilling Tso & Tso Moriri.
