🎉Happy Anniversary Drumchapel Credit Union! It was lovely to attend a recent celebration for it & to present a copy of my parliamentary motion recognising its golden anniversary. The first Credit Union in Scotland, the organisation has now served the community for 55 years.

Reading for expression I loved teaching. How good is this visual storyboard, read for writing stuff of dreams. Also, surfacing interesting words in any language so young is brilliant.

Reception are loving their story "The Gingerbread Man" we are trying very hard to use expression when retelling the story. #TheGingerBreadMan #EYFSOracy #Oracy #Voice21 @voice21oracy

WATCH: Tory MSP says people at 'seagull summit' were told to 'walk around waving their arms' to deter the birds. @Douglas4Moray says another suggestion was to 'draw eyes' on takeaway boxes, because gulls don't like being stared at. He demonstrates both actions.

Exploring the GCSE data figures published on @SkyNews . The story I would have presented is Northern Ireland are smashing it! How can more learn from their model for Grade 7 or higher? Is it replicable at other grades and how can their best practice benefit others?

Cutting school librarian posts is a step backwards for young people, especially in communities where support matters most. At St Thomas Aquinas, pupils return without a librarian. We should invest in our children’s futures, not strip resources away. scotsman.com/news/glasgows-…
