The Stabilizer. That’s my new nickname for Jimmy b/c that’s what he is to this team. Such a great player

This is word for word bar for bar what the Warriors are dealing with right now with Kuminga
Drafting players like Paolo is one of the biggest organizational detriments in the league because not only do you overdraft an average talent, but you’re also under organizational pressure to extract his potential so you have to waste time, coaching and team building on him

AD for the Lakers turned into a ring, a retired number, a team legend, and Luka Doncic. You make the AD trade 10/10 times
Lonzo Ball says the Lakers should NOT have traded for Anthony Davis “I think they should have just maybe just kept all these picks and just see how it would have went but I mean they still got the ring so, you know, worked out for them.” (Via @ballinthefampod)
He would love his role in the Warriors offense
Domantas Sabonis has been frustrated with his role in the Kings’ new offense, per @MikeAScotto “Sabonis has been disappointed with Sacramento’s downward trajectory since reaching the playoffs and his usage at times under coach Doug Christie, league sources told HoopsHype.”…
Ah yes just what I want to do is see some NBA exec's walking around an empty arena with no soul
The vibe of Players Era right now is more NBA Summer League than Maui. Going there is fun! You see CBB people and NBA execs everywhere, wall-to-wall games in multiple gyms is great, Vegas is Vegas. True tournament format would help get it closer to what CBB traditionalists love.
UConn always has been and always will be a Basketball school, so I’m not that surprised with this news. That said the school Mora left for (Colorado State) is a surprise
Here’s the @espn story on UConn coach Jim Mora’s expected hire as Colorado State’s head coach, per ESPN sources. espn.com/college-footba…
Milwaukee is a perfect spot for LaVine
The Milwaukee Bucks are showing a level of interest in Zach LaVine, per @MikeAScotto “The Milwaukee Bucks have conducted background due diligence on Zach LaVine and others around the league, as usual, sources told HoopsHype. However, nothing is imminent as Bucks superstar…
Carson Johnson and All Wright in the backcourt next season at Cintas would feed families
Denver's sophomore guard Carson Johnson's pace, skill and shotmaking has been on full display to begin the season. Johnson has put together 18.5 PPG, 2.2 RPG, 3.2 APG on 46/40/80 splits Thrives in the PNR, has given Denver a major spark as an advantage creator, had a very high…
I need Walter Clayton to get on the Warriors somehow
University of Florida teammates Will Richard and Walter Clayton Jr. swap jerseys postgame 🫂
Richard Pitino sighting
8 YEARS AGO TODAY Alabama had to play the final 10 MINS of a game with just 3 players! They outscored MIN 30-22 Collin Sexton scored 31 of his 40 in the 2nd half
Every single college basketball fan sees the players era for what it is: another soulless, corporate stepping stone to completely sapping what makes college hoops exciting which is passion. Buy hey at least some of the biggest losers the sport has to offer told us to get over it
A promise to you all. I will never sell out to promote a soulless, corporatized event that disrupts, and tries to destroy, the unique charm of our most cherished Feast Weeks events. Others clearly have. Maui, Atlantis, Fort Myers, etc. You have my backing. Forever.
I just love how every College Basketball fanbase is going after the media for defending the Player’s Era. We have our respective teams we root for, but we all want our sport to be in the best shape possible. We as fans gotta keep up the momentum
Counter point, read this from our pals over at @anchorofgold about what makes the Players Era suck: anchorofgold.com/basketball/303…

I totally understand the allure of the Players Era but for my money the Charleston Classic was the best MTE I have coached in. 2 games with a day off in between. Easy travel, amazing arena, walkable city, and a fun environment. Great for the fans, players, and coaches.
Respectfully here is what Jeff is missing—and this isn’t personal; just a matter of deep philosophical difference. Jeff’s approach to powerful corporate interests saying we have to jump is “tell me how high!”Mine is “why?” He sees these forces and assumes inevitability; I don’t.
I understand people are upset that Feast Week has changed. Maui isn’t what it was, Battle for Atlantis is history, Orlando and Charleston are watered down. The portal, NIL, Players Era and soon the NCAA tourney will change. It’s the new world of college hoops. Get used to it.
Translation: Jonathan Kuminga will be healthy and available as soon as he’s traded.
Jonathan Kuminga declined to provide an update on how he’s feeling Monday. He missed his sixth straight game because of a knee injury. Nobody is sure when he’ll return — and his lingering status continues to hover over everything the Warriors do. nytimes.com/athletic/68357…
