Random Monday afternoon thought... Someone told me once that eggs and sour kraut were good together. I tried it. They were right.

Random Monday afternoon thought: For @RevenueCat we literally don't gate *any* features. The free tier has exactly the same feature set as the paid tier, with - you as an indie or startup - having access to the same things we provide OpenAI with for ChatGPT. Because we believe,…

Look Ma! I shipped stuff!

📺 RevenueCat Paywalls now supports videos. ➕Add a video component to your paywall, just as you would a photo.

For a few years, people have been posting pictures of "GigaChad" saying "Based" I think I may start leaving this in my approved code reviews with the comment "reBased"

Hey! I'm working on @RevenueCat's paywalls nowadays, and I am always looking to chat with users about what they like, don't like, or want. If you use our paywalls—or don't because of reasons—connect with me and let me know. It helps me make a better product for YOU.

Vacation with kids and land is a lot of work, but I'll have a beer with my Homie-steaders anyway

Hey all! New here, so I figured I'd introduce myself. I'm Jacob. I'm a generalist but iOS+Swift is my comfort zone. I spent a little over 5 years working for Dave Ramsey on various apps and tools, did consulting for a while, and now I'm starting a new gig at RevenueCat in 2 weeks

Big news! I'm joining @joshdholtz and @RevenueCat on the Monetization team! Fired up!! 🔥☝️

What I've learned about AI as a pair programmer is that it rabbit trails worse than a developer with ADD. It does well if you don't muddy the water with too many details about goals or "why" something should happened. Just that it should do x and you'd like to use y apis.

I've been opposed to "vibe coding" to date, but I'll be honest… I wasn't aware of the rails we could put the AI on to get more reliable output. So now I feel a bit behind. Who's willing to give me some pointed resources to catch me up on how to use AI as a pair programmer?

It's fun to see the articles you don't expect to get a lot of love in a newsletter like this. Also, X should really just delete that account. I haven't been able to sign into it in years 😅

Setting up some infrastructure for a small side project that will handle some image processing. Any AWS pros care to look at this diagram and tell me if I'm doing anything dumb? gist.github.com/JZDesign/11d9b…
