One would have thought @PGHDPW would have had crews out filling potholes and running the street sweepers on a (rare) sunny winter day. Shady, Forbes and Beechwood are horrible. Not to mention 311 is broken thanks to @MayorEdGainey. @Pittsburgh deserves better!
A winter snow event is on the way and once again @Pittsburgh @PGHDPW are completely silent regarding preparations and pre-treatment of roads. Last time poor planning resulted in 100+ accidents. @PghDistrict5
Southwest of PGH: bulk of snow between 4 AM and noon Fri. Near/north of PGH: bulk of snow Friday afternoon/night Ridges: snow from Friday morning through night, resulting in higher overall totals. Bottom line? Hazardous travel is possible at any time Fri/Fri night - be prepared!

This is the COVID-19 Update for Nov. 24, 2021. In the last 24 hours, 892 new cases were reported to the Health Department. Of these, 541 are confirmed cases and 351 are probable cases.
Should we expect your usual song and dance on Wednesday at the briefing (more apathy and inaction) or are @HealthAllegheny and @ACE_Fitzgerald ready to actually take action with a mask mandate and occupancy limits? Tents in front of our hospitals isn’t a good look either.

Here’s a look inside the 10 bed tent outside of Children’s Hospital. It’s being used if needed due to a influx of pediatric patients. Children’s says no child will be turned away. @WPXI
So again… @ACE_Fitzgerald, @HealthAllegheny and @billpeduto, could y’all at least have conversations and collaborate on a mask mandate and further prevention strategies. I know @billpeduto can’t give the order, so we’re looking at you @ACE_Fitzgerald and @HealthAllegheny.
Saw on fb that Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh put up tents to help create more space for the deluge of kids they are seeing. This is after reading the picu was full last night. So I look forward to never sleeping soundly until the fda approves the eua for the under 12 set.
