Don't spend hours at a time trying to solve one bug in your code. Go outside or do something else for 30 mins to reset your brain and you'll see that most of the time it's just a typo.

missed a couple of days on my chess project bc I moved in to my college dorm, but now I'm back
Day 4 & 5 of building a chess game with JS: ✅ changed everything from functional progamming to OOP ✅ changed the functionality of updating the UI ✅ worked on bugs (it's now more errors than before) Album "whole lotta errors" dropping soon🔥
Day 2 & 3 of creating my own chess game: - pieces can now be moved - worked on the functionality to flip the board which works now - will work on the functionality to restart the game
Day 1 of building a chess game with JS: - did the html and css - assigned a unique value to each square with rows and columns - when a square is clicked, the color of the square and whether a piece is standing on it, is detected Very excited about this project!
Limiting my Twitter use to 15 minutes per day to focus in things that are more important and to save time.
I started open-source in January. 2 months later I got internship. This would never happen... If I didn't raise my hand to solve issue that day. I was afraid that I'll not make it. Guess what? I made it. You value more than you think. You just need to take action.
The more you learn, the more you realize how little you know.
If you're just scrolling on Twitter and not creating you're wasting your time just like on TikTok/Instagram. Shift your use to 80% creating and 20% consuming. By that you can get more value in less time. You have to give value to get real value.
