Does anyone actually enjoy using LinkedIn? It’s the same as Facebook but it’s but wearing a suit and holding a pile of resumès
It's great for making content. Long legs on all your posts.
Nope, I'm only there to hire, or be hired. Going to use polywork going forward, hopefully it continues to gain traction
I don't think LinkedIn is something to enjoy. It's a tool versus an entertainment platform
It seems the same though, I get all of my business from twitter and exactly none from LinkedIn
I have used #LinkedIn for every single one of my job searches and used recruiters as well I always ended up getting the job on my own LinkedIn might have helped but the recruiters for sure never found a suitable job for me.
It's strictly business for me. The bird app is where the funs at.
Deleted Facebook a long time ago. LinkedIn has started giving me similar vibes now! No matter how hard I try to filter out what I want to see it, I still end up despising it. Sadly, companies still use that to checkout candidates’ profiles, so yeah!
Barely use it, didn't change my job since I left academics, though. At least I get some headhunters taking note of me.
I like to see and celebrate people doing well and changing careers or getting promoted. It’s also nice to see the jobs that are out there. I have met some great mentors from LinkedIn. So I think it just depends on how you use it.
LinkedIn lacks Authenticity!! People don't want to show their real Emotions!! Actions & Words are like Hell & Heaven
I think if you follow the right people you can have an organic timeline with great content! I really enjoy some course updates over there and news too! ofc a great place to increase and improve network. Also I like how polite the comments need to be because of the manners.
Some have arguably say is an adult thing. People learnt to be adults respecting each other's opinions on that platform. And we all know how far that can go on resume, it speaks volumes. LinkedIn for me is where you sell yourself, for those that knows how to.
I like their saved/applied jobs feature it helps me keep track of what I've saved then applied to
It's good if I want to check someone's profile before taking interviews
