self-awarding #blackbelt in @FlutterDev after integrating @GoogleAdMob, @supabase auth + storage, Multi user accounts with seamless live account switching and with @powersync_ + Bloc + HydratedBloc for shared *and * persistent state, @PostgreSQL + @nuxt_js backend. AMA I guess

I just coded distributed message sync on @FlutterDev and @nuxt_js using identical Hybrid Logical Clock and ternary Merkle tree impls in @typescript and @dart_lang, msg store in @supabase @PostgreSQL with unit and integration tests #LifeChoices @jlongster I owe you a beer

My tip of the week. Turn *Off* automatic inline completions - Less distraction - No more rushing to 'beat' the AI - Invoke completions with keyboard shortcuts when you need it, and when you have 'prepped' the source by e.g. adding a comment - Learn more - Regain Control #Copilot

I see a lot of advertising for @clickup so recently, when I needed to track some work I tried it. I'm familiar with scrum so I tried to get that going. Way too hard, like a poorly fitting suit. I gave up and created a @Jira account and was productive in literally 10 minutes.

Typescript on the server is a turgid cesspool of pain and futility. Change my mind @ThePrimeagen

153 countries, including Australia, have already called for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire. Now many of Israel’s friends are expressing deep concerns about reports of an Israeli military operation in Rafah. This would have devastating consequences for civilians.

callout @OpenAI, the new gpt-4-0125-preview model available via the API is significantly more useful than the earlier gpt-4-1106-preview and more faithfully replicates ChatGPT with GPT4. Solved a headache just by upgrading. just highlights for me that the model is key

quick callout to @supabase for their excellent guide to vectors in @PostgreSQL. I like that they have not tried to productise but rather provided excellent documentation for what the open source community has produced. (supabase.com/docs/guides/ai)

Check out the latest @prisma release v5.8.0 🚀 . I'll be watching to see if joins rather than sub-queries by default improves performance out of the box github.com/prisma/prisma/…

So we all believed that the added complexity of @GraphQL would help us get away from breaking api version changes and maintain legacy clients when the backend implementation needed to change. Then you see things like this from @mondaydotcom. Pretty sure thats a fail.
