Here's a nice blog entry about the @jetbrains IDEs' powerful refactoring capabilities. Illuminated Cloud 2 supports most of the described refactorings for Apex, and when paired with a commercial JetBrains IDE, they are also available for JavaScript. Definitely worth the read!
