Today's #Editing Tip comes from Cass Kim. "The single most important thing you can do to build tension and arc for a story is to know what's at stake. When you know what a character is fighting for, you can then make them walk the tightrope of failure or success. That's tension."
I learned how creative non-fiction worked from the inside, putting together my first 7,000 word cnf and loving how I could riff and slide. It was like writing jazz, with words. This spring "Lessons in Bear Hunting" came out in the Crone Rising anthology by @JazzHousePR
