Thats why no matter what the powerful or conservative or whoever say about defund, it’s a necessity. It’s a way to start reversing this horrible cycle. It’s not the end, it’s the beginning of funding necessities and survival and hopefully some thriving instead of oppression.
The deprivation and oppression inherent in capitalism necessitate violent police to suppress dissent. That money is taken from the pool that could fund peoples needs. People get pissed. The powerful get scared and fund more repression, increasing deprivation. And on and on.
The government is about to give $13 billion more to Ukraine and another $13 billion to 100,000 new cops, but has ignored water issues in Jackson and Flint for years. This isn’t an accident, it’s a decision to deprive Black communities while funding war profiteering and violence.
These cruel and useless experiments were done by #UWMadison to receive more than $3 million in tax money through the #NIH. 💰 💰 💰 💷 💳
