Good Friday is our reminder that when everything feels lost, when darkness seems to take over, there is hope on the way. We know a better ending because we know a victorious Savior. Darkness may last for a while, but joy comes in the morning. (Psalm 30:5)
Sometimes the best thing to do when you don’t know what to do is to stop doing what you are doing and just be … be with the Lord. Be still. Be willing. Be quiet. Be faithful. Just be. “…in quietness and trust is your strength” (Isaiah 30:15).
God has promised to never leave us. So every morning when we wake up, we can say, “Thank you, Jesus. I know you were watching over me while I slept. And now as I get ready for the day, I know that wherever I go, you are with me.”
