I'll never not talk about what I went through with post natal depression, post sepsis syndrome etc. The more people you talk to, the more you realise you're not as alone as you think you are.
to even open my eyes and tell anyone what was wrong, I dread to think where I'd be now. Sepsis can happen quick and fast, I experienced this first hand, please watch out for the signs and speak up for yourself when and if you can, you know your body better than anyone!
This all led to Post Natal depression and missing out on all the best parts of having a newborn baby, unable to bond. Those days and months I'll never get back. I am one of the lucky ones and if I hadn't had Ryan and all the drs fight my midwife for me when I was too weak..
it still doesn't change the long lasting effects post sepsis syndrome has had in my daily life. From severe PTSD and waking up from nightmares that turned out to actually be flashbacks from a birth I can barely remember to hairloss, insomnia, depression and major anxiety...
