All the shenanigans about Tekken 8 aside. Evo France top 8 was one of the most refreshing things I’ve seen from tekken in so long. It was honestly beautiful to watch. I started wanting both the favorite and the under dog to win. It’s a feeling I haven’t felt in a long time
Tekken ain’t for us no more. I finally get it now. It’s for a new gen like when we went from T5 to T6.

I will watch. But my expectations are EXTREMELY low. T8 needs a multiple overhaul patches. Not more characters that just make the issues a lot of fans have with the game worse. Balance patch news would be the best thing to get from this reveal tbh.

Just my opinion: SF6 the only game out of the FG Big 3 that ain’t getting completely shit on somehow….MK1 has a great community and decent game but the company doesn’t care. Tekken has an okay community mostly due to the frustration from the game….hoping season 3 is better.

I’m so lucky I’m not addicted to Tekken anymore. Not playing games that stress me out and promotes bland and routine gameplay is refreshing. If a good patch/character drops I’m right back in there tho
