I’ve been saying this the whole time to #jets fans that just assume that 1) there will be a trade partner to get a top 3 QB 2) there will be 3 very good QBs Very likely either of these 2 things doesn’t happen and then there’s a good chance we would have been stuck with no QB
Do people not realize that QB2 next year could easily be worse than the 5th best QB in this years class? Lamar Jackson was the 5th QB taken in 2018, Daniel Jones was the 2nd QB taken in 2019. This the type of time y’all wanna be on?

That would help the #jets short term, but it caps the teams potential at just a playoff team because then either Darnold isn’t good and you don’t have the number 2 pick next yeah or you have a pretty good QB paying him 25+ mil per year. Only way that works out is if he’s top 7 QB

He’s a perfect fit for our cover 3 scheme and can 100% play outside in it. Probably not CB4 overall, but he should be CB4 on the #jets board imo. Could possibly be available at 34 as well so we could use 23 on other needs.
