God’s Word is powerful! His Words do good! God’s Spirit is not limited or restricted. So wherein might lie the problem in our lives? We are the weak link. God’s Word works for the one who works righteously. Oh God,You know how to rescue us from temptation that robs us

God is a gracious God, merciful, forgiving Jonah knew this but sadly, it frustrated him He wants God to be mad as he is mad Jonah is out of sync with God’s heart God asks “is it right for you to be angry?” The answer is NO God ways are right and where we disagree, WE are wrong

Why do we wait so long to pray? Maybe that is not your struggle, but it was for Jonah. The “then” in this verse indicates Jonah waited, remained distant but when He prayed God answered For me, it is an oft repeated lesson…pray, pray quickly, pray soon! “Then Jonah prayed”

No matter the size of the assembly or its other attributes, our Lord wants it to be known by His presence in the midst. I would rather have His presence in the church than anything else in all the wide world. Tozer

Above all…puts this command really high! Love one another….have fervent love for one another. So, I realize none of us need the rest of this 😉 Love covers a multitude of sins…we in love can put up with imperfect people. Love…without grumbling. Love like and with Jesus

Christ suffered ONCE for sins! The Cross of Jesus worked. It is finished, it is done! This is a gloriously wonderful reality Through this I am brought near God, Wow! Yet, there is also present help now…today, in Christ I can draw near God and in this, I joy and want to live!

Desire the Bible that you may grow! Spiritual growth comes through the Word of God, and we can grow in what God has for us through the Bible!!! Desire the Bible the way a baby desires milk. Have you tasted how good God is, how good His word is…remember it…and crave it again

God is amazing and I worship Him! I worship Him for His lovingkindness and His truth… …revealed in the BIBLE! God’s Word is magnified by God. When we are in a good space, His Word is magnified by us. Lord, I want to be in the space of exalting You and hearing Your Word…

Calling trumps difficulty As resistance happens to the ministry Amos is told to leave and go where he would be wanted and accepted… Amos answers powerfully, the LORD called him to this ministry… The sense of a call of God is vital in serving Him Calling overcomes difficulty!

Today…I want to be…and I encourage you to be… 1) Be Ready to Serve God…to step into every opportunity 2) Be Self-Controlled…be Sober…don’t let sin reign 3) Be Hopeful…in what is coming, Jesus is coming back Lord…help us today to be…Ready, Self-Controlled and Hopeful!

God is saying to you: Seek Me and you will find life! This reality flows and echos through the whole Bible. We need God, we are made for a relationship with Him, our hearts are restless until they find their rest in Him. Seek the LORD and Live! Amos 5:4

“There are things you do not have, because you do not ask” ~ God Could it be any more clear or simple? Prayer works! God tells us that there are things we would have, because we do not ask. I wonder what we might be missing in our lives because we have failed to ask…?

God, I the wisdom that comes from above, from You! Today, right now, I am reaching for it, asking You for it. I don’t want the wisdom that is worldly, fleshly or satanic. I recognize those kind of wisdom create envy and self-seeking and fill our lives with confusion and messes.

Truth over Tradition!!! There is a danger of being led astray by lies… I want to be one that esteems God’s Word over tradition Amos 2:4 …they have despised the law of the LORD, And have not kept His commandments. Their lies lead them astray, Lies which their fathers followed

Thank You LORD! You are GOOD! Your STEADFAST LOVE, Your MERCY endures forever! I love the rhythm of Psalm 136…that every verse echos out God’s steadfast love and mercy. From creation to this moment and into eternity - the unchanging perfect nature of God is our hope and life.
