The idea of some imagined future circumstance where you will finally be happy and fulfilled, is only a distraction and an excuse to harbor contempt for the present. Now is all you will ever have. Find the joy in it, or you will carry your contempt into all possible futures.
The storms of life can be terrible and terrifying, but in the wake of devastation, people helping people restores and reaffirms my hope for humanity.
If you don't like the outlook, look in. Changing outcomes begins with changing perspectives. Look at things in a different way and change your thinking.
