(1/2) UPDATE! I have passed the test from my previous post! If you look at the source code you will see on line 63: req.body.userId. This was incorrect because in my post route I am using “:_id” as a parameter in my route. #FreeCodeCamp #JavaScript #APIs #BackendDev

It wasn’t until a friend from my Bootcamp inspired me to get back into everything. Unfortunately most of what I learned in the Bootcamp was confusing and lost. But here I am. Been steadily coding most days since January.
My intent for creating this account is document my personal journey and maybe I can inspire someone out there to keep pushing. After my Bootcamp I was lost, had no idea what I was doing and almost gave up.
So I decided to take a #FullStack #WebDevelopment bootcamp. 13 weeks of intense learning.
I became an expedition in Alaska and Hawaii from 2017-2020. As most people know, the pandemic destroyed the tourism industry.
Working on point of sales systems was very boring, and ultimately I quit. I was young and needed more from life, so I set out and found a job that paid me to travel.
First things first, here’s a little bit more about my background: 2014-2016 I worked as a Point of Sales programming specialist working with Micros, which has since be acquired by Oracle.
