Le Gros Horloge was completed in 1389 by Jean de Felain. Although the clock’s mechanism is one of the oldest in all of Europe, it has been powered by electricity since the 1920s. Not to worry though, as the movement is still working perfectly.

In 1900 the Bundy Manufacturing Co. Formed the International Time Recording Co which became IBM. Here is an example of one of there great inventions.

Francis Tantum of Loscoe circa 1700. This a very early single hand 30 hour Floor Clock. We restored the top fret work as well as remaking the lower base of the case and repairing the movement to running condition. If you would to restore your clock please consider us.
J.H.Heller of Bern Swiss music box circa 1866. Eight tunes with nine engraved bells. Sounds fantastic.
Here is a beauty for you. This a Seth Thomas 8 day weight driven floor clock movement. It has maintaining power and a count wheel strike attached to the first wheel. It strikes the hour and half hour on three tubes. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. #seththomas
Another wonderful piece coming into the shop is a Thomas Walker Fredericksburg VA circa 18th century. A very highly regarded clockmaker with only a dozen known examples. His finest piece is in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.
