We should reject the idea that the country is moving to the right. Both parties made an appeal to the right and one did a better job of it.

Let’s not pretend Harris lost on Gaza. Jill Stein couldn’t even crack half a percentage point, even though she made Gaza the centerpiece of her messaging. The truth is much more sobering: Our countrymen are so sick that genocide didn’t factor into their vote at all.
I’m not happy that Trump will cause unmeasurable harm to marginalized communities across this country, AND continue the annexation of Gaza and the West Bank. If that makes me a “shitlib,” you’re entitled to that opinion, I suppose. I think you’re virtue signaling, but cool.
