Sylvester Magqabaza, who has just finished a run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, was welcomed to the school today, where he held a workshop in the Drama Dept and library for pupils who learnt to dance and sing in Xhosa. It was a wonderful experience! @KnoxDrama @knoxacademy

What a lovely way to celebrate #bookweekscotland - thank you Victoria Williamson @strangelymagic for your entertaining talk. We enjoyed hearing about War of the Winds (available to borrow now from the school library), and learning about wind turbines, BSL and alphabet codes.
