THIS is the man that fanatical Star Wars fans shat upon. THIS is the man that REALLY should’ve been a Jedi. THIS MAN is the epitome of The Resistance, exactly as it should be. Have no choice but to stan.

NEW | John Boyega at the #BlackLivesMatter protest in Hyde Park, London today! (via nayz100 on Instagram) ❤️

The only thing is story is proving to me is that there are some people who hate honoring other people’s boundaries, especially if they’re not close. The same person who throws a fit that their kids aren’t invited and their boyfriend can’t propose at the function. Stay home!

Lastly, all this energy that folks have on what makes a good or bad teacher but get SUPER defensive when teachers speak on what makes good or bad parenting? Cuz why is your child in anybody’s head? ON OR OFF camera? Your slips are showing.

I’ve equally learned about the self righteousness of “good” teachers as I’ve learned about the inappropriate behaviors of budding teachers this weekend. A lot of us haven’t been fired because of our moments, past or present, haven’t made it to the Internet.

People commenting on this calling it “teacher’s salary” and all I can think is that they must not know many teachers

My pastor preached about this today but said that sometimes being in the wrong place means that God is using your gifts as a blessing and testimony for someone else.

No matter how extraordinary you are if you are in the wrong environment you are very likely to be overlooked and undervalued.

Ok so my real birthday post. I am grateful for 40 years. The last couple years have been a journey of self-discovery and learning to love myself. So my prayer for this year and going forward is for the bravery to walk with new confidence in what I’ve learned.

Stressed about a situation I can’t change right now

So much to #unpack. So many mothers stayed with raggedy ass daddies for the sake of staying or because they had no choice. Then they raise hellion sons who see the mistreatment growing up as normal. Then those sons are unleashed on the streets for us to date. 🙄

I'm so glad that they let this air. Because how many of our moms, aunts, grammas, etc never got this moment. #LoveIsBlind6

Whew reasons 525,600 why I probably won’t be a mother.

6 straight points for the Lakers and the Kings immediately call timeout. What a concept.

A disastrous 2nd Q for LAL as the Kings outscored them 44-20 to turn a 19-point Lakers lead into a 72-57 deficit. Kings played a 3-guard lineup and LAL chose to match instead of staying bigger, and SAC took full advantage. Kings were 18 of 23 in the 2nd, and LAL 5 for 18.

Lock back in, Lakers. Come on.

All I want is world peace and for Darvin Ham to learn when to take a Time Out
