Wow another awesome adventure with KBA CCF parachuting from 4000 feet. All 8 completing their first static line jump. 12 hour training session completed and a lucky break in the weather after 3 days they finally joined an elite group well done a fantastic achievements.
Successful #dofe silver practice for @KBuccleuchA students. All ready for the assessed expedition in July. Very glad it was good weather and thanks to all the staff who made it possible

At the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, the Great War ends. At 5 a.m. that morning, Germany, bereft of manpower and supplies and faced with imminent invasion, signed an armistice agreement with the Allies in a railroad car outside Compiégne, France.
Congratulations to our DofE participants who, despite everything, still managed to complete their skills, physical and volunteering sections during the first half of the year. Well done!
