Wouldn't it be nice if pro-lifers focused on ending gun violence? Or suicide prevention? Or abolishing the death penalty? Or stopping police killings? Or fighting poverty? Or combating the opioid epidemic? Or ending wars? You know, things that would actually save lives?
Bipartisanship is not a goal. Goals are raising the minimum wage, securing voting rights, ending police brutality, getting universal health care, and saving the planet. If these can’t be done in a bipartisanship way, the hell with bipartisanship.
So let me get this straight: Republicans in the Senate are willing to vote for $2.3 trillion in tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations, but refuse to vote for $1,400 for their constituents?
