What a perfect morning in the Library with three Y7&8 classes visiting to choose books for the 'Genre discovery' reading challenge. L4B & L4D stayed on, resulting in delightful clusters of children reading throughout the Library. My idea of Heaven! #WeLoveReading 📚

We launched a 'Genre discovery' Reading Challenge on World Book Day 7th March. Y8 pupils Zofia, Henry, and Stella had completed the 12 categories less than three weeks later, whilst Y7 Penny and Amelia completed theirs over the Easter break! Wonderful reading role models all!📚
A fantastic win - from a superb shortlist. We are reading the Older Readers list with our Y9 Book club. Over half (8 out of 17) of the pupils selected Thieves' Gambit as their choice, and are very excited about reading it. Congratulations @KayvionLewis !
