Subho Guru Purnima Baba & Maa 🖤 I can't exactly explain in words whatever I have witnessed, questioned, got answers, nimityas...The constant questioning of everything that challenged the very sense of advait. Questioning the basic statvik padhatis, niyam, achar, vichar, shastras

1. Did Rafale meet the MMRCA ASQR? No, in 14 parameters. Solution: We changed the ASQR! The remaining became the the basis for "India Specific Enhancements". We paid $1.8 billion dollars for them! What do we do to ours?!

A good win for multiple @DRDO_India labs who collaborated to design this mine. Bigger win for BDL, whosoever manufactures it. MOD policy is to now seek at least two manufacturers.

Acquisition of more than 100,000 Vibhav anti tank mines was cleared today by DAC.

Bro IAF has 500+ fighters flying around. A few Tejas Mk1As that may not meet 110% air headquarters aspirations won't make the whole IAF dysfunctional. Why this special lack of love for Tejas Mk1A when the same deviations are allowed for Mirage, M29, Su30 and Rafales?

Bro they have like 300 working F35 lying around few dysfunctional ones don’t matter we don’t have that luxury

Imagine if govt was in mission mode and had spent 3 lakh crore on the Indian military aerospace ecosystem in the last 10 years. We would have a full fledged 4.5 generation aircraft, a 5th gen aircraft and a full range of aero-engines. And a strong pipeline for further iterations.

Still in for TEDBF

Bars isn't easy to jam. Significant trials by IAF apart, it was even taken to Red Flag by the IAF & held up well against jamming even in training mode. Yes, PESA radars have architectural limitations versus AESA ones, but Russians are masters at algos, signal processing both.

BARS isn't better than most AESA radars, may be better than JF17B3's AESA radar😅,PESA radars including the big boy 'IRBIS-E' are very much susceptible to jamming (almost everyone will use jamming these days) and lacks LPI characteristcs that are USPs of a modern AESAs.

Here is an old picture of Su-30MkI in monster mode carrying 12 AAMs. Tbh this can be enhanced too with dual rack for Astra if space permits and of course with SPJ and ASPJ pods are included it might lead to carrying fewer missiles. Unlike neutered IAF photos.

You don't use the saved funds to buy 4x the fighters. You add more Tejas Mk2, and use the rest for upgrading the IACCS, Kusha, QRSAM, Akash NG, persistent ISR, EW , IFR, more AWACS, more munitions depth, all areas the IAF is currently behind in. Use some common sense brother.

Perhaps one day @JA_Maolankar can share some unclass naval aviators perspective on the LUSH upgrade & it's impact on how the SHars fought the IAF in exercises. Will be fascinating for all.

Project getting sanctioned doesn't mean it's ordered. All it means is after a D&D phase, orders "should" come if customer agrees AND if the customer has cash. With limited capex, 114 Rafale will delay multiple programs. That's a given.

Super Sukhoi programme is getting sanction, 84 SU 30 will get major overhaul followed by rest of the jets 220 Tejas in air by 2033 But I was told there is no money after Rafale deal and govt doesn't care about IDDM platforms Mark my words, MK II and AMCA, when they fly, will…

ADA's Mk1 rejected. IAF sought closure in 2014-15. All Mk2 configurations also rejected. Mk1A was HAL's suo-moto proposal (not ADA) to address Mk1 shortfalls reported by IAF. Proposal rejected by IAF. Accepted by MoD. Now, HAL has to clean each & every pt from past. Till then 😴

Mk1A is ISE to Mk1. Zoom out to the programme, not variant. LCA will see out the end of its service with at least 7 permanent waivers (that I know of). This is how all acquisition programmes the world over work. You know all this just as well as I, so why the bad faith griping?
