I’m not opposed to SNAP. I’m opposed to 42 million people enjoying its benefits. I’m not opposed to Medicaid. I’m opposed to 80 million people on it. We’ve institutionalized and rewarded personal irresponsibility in a way America simply can’t afford. Taxpayers deserve better.
Obamacare is not healthcare legislation. It’s a massive transfer of wealth from hard working American taxpayers into the healthcare economy. It’s a multi trillion dollar scam, handout to the least productive, and actual government endorsed theft. Let the shutdown continue.
I’ve always believed our inability to control spending by our federal government was the single most significant issue of our time. I’m beginning to feel the mistakes we’ve made in accepting and normalizing illegal immigration is nearly as important. Or more.
The price of health insurance premiums isn’t about risk modeling or one’s health. It’s about how much money the federal government is willing to pump into a system that is impossible for consumers to understand. It’s a scam designed to maximize profits and not patient care.
