Amazing thing happened Saturday. My friend and I came across a lost child in London. We stopped to help and realised she had Down Syndrome and used Makaton to communicate. Thankfully I was able to sign with her and with help from the police she was reunited with her family. Wow!
I wish they’d do documentaries following AHPs in the NHS. I love watching shows like 24 Hours and Saving Our Nurses, but it’d be so wonderful for people to see AHPs in their roles. It might even open their eyes to job opportunities they didn’t know were out there!
